How To Join

Step #1 - Book a FREE one on one introduction session

We request that you call ahead to book a free personal one on one introduction session. This will cover a general overview and some basic techniques to give you a taste of our program. You will also be given an info pack containing joining forms and fee structure and copies of articles. Prior to joining in to do two free classes all prospective students must complete a joining form.

Step #2 - Attend a FREE class

After your free class you are then able to decide if Choi Kwang Do is right for you.

For parents we recommend you stay and watch your child participate in their introductory classes. Please feel free to join in with your child.

All you need to wear is a casual top (t-shirt) and track pants or similar. No shoes are required and we recommend you bring a water bottle. This introduction session is suitable for all fitness levels.

Step #3 - Become a Member

After this you are then free to participate in our classes. You will receive your Starter Pack and will be registered on our Online System at our head office in Atlanta USA. 

Belt testing is undertaken approximately every two months provided you have attended 16 classes. Full details on belt testing dates are shown in our Class times page.

On passing each belt test you will receive the Choi Kwang Do Internationally accredited certificate of grading. This will be posted from Atlanta, USA.

We all recognise that from time to time circumstances can change and for this reason we are a ‘No Contracts’ school. Simply let us know as soon as practical and your fees will stop. No penalties, no fees, no contracts. It is as simple as that.

If you are relocating and want to continue with Choi Kwang Do just let us know and we will take care of the transfer and ensure you are welcomed by the school owner.
